Students with low vision have special educational needs that must be met by both special education as well as regular education teachers. These students may need low vision aids in order to better perform their schoolwork. Teachers should consult with the student, parents, as well as the vision teacher to determine the best way to meet the visually impaired student's needs. Students and families choose Visions for their education because we recruit and retain highly qualified Credentialed Teachers. We actively seek teachers who are committed to serving students and families with unique and diverse backgrounds in a personalized way. We also have a highly qualified staff of Counselors and Administrators.

That’s why we created the Visions Loves Educators Classroom Funding Program. Visions will award full funding, up to $, for projects submitted by educators at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. We’ve committed $20, to the program, so multiple projects may win! Our educators give so much to their kids and our communities.   My Vision For Teaching And Learning It shows who the good teachers are and the ones who don't really care. You can see the difference in the effort given, in the exhausted but happy smiles, in the long days, in the crying kids, in the desperate and lost times, but they persevere. It takes a lot of education to see how diseases work.

These classroom resources provide core curriculum and instruction while guiding your professional growth. Our authors expand upon the ideas introduced in their professional books, model effective instructional strategies, and provide "ready-to-use" resources — including teaching materials and lesson plans — written to support your daily instruction.   Ben Owens spent 20 years as an engineer in industry before becoming a math and physics teacher at Tri-County Early College High School in Murphy, N.C.
